Warriors Would Have Won Even Without Kawhi Injury

The Golden State Warriors came back from 25 points down to beat the San Antonio Spurs in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

Most NBA pundits agree that the turning point in the game came in the middle of the third quarter when Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard injured his ankle and was forced to sit out the rest of the game. The Spurs were up by 23 points when Leonard went out, and the Warriors promptly went on an 18-0 run as soon as he exited the game.

Clay Travis is not most NBA pundits.

Clay argues that the Warriors would've won game 1 even if Kawhi hadn't gotten injured. The Warriors are that good, and they've overcome large deficits in the past (including a 22-point comeback win against the Spurs on March 29).
