LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, home of the USC Trojans football team and temporary home of the Los Angeles Rams, could be getting a new name.
According to a report today by Sports Business Daily, United Airlines has tentatively reached a 15-year, $70 million naming rights deal for the nearly century-old stadium.
United Airlines, if you recall, is not the most popular airline on the planet. Now, they will be the official sponsor of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
In order to not cost myself a job if United Airlines comes calling for a Fox Sports Radio sponsorship....
Let me just say that this opens the door for some... creative jokes about the Los Angeles Coliseum.
