When the NBA tips off at the start of each season, it gets a ton of attention right off the bat, but then suffers a bit of a lull while all the other sports (NFL in particular) finish up. When the NBA finishes up, we all sit here illegally streaming baseball games at work and yearning for some other sports to keep us entertained.
Why can't we just fix this?
Adam Silver and the NBA have the ability to give players a little more of a rest one off-season, and start the NBA schedule later. That would push the NBA Playoffs out into peak baseball time (because who cares this early) and keep our lives fulfilled. Sort of wish I was kidding...
