Malik Monk SG 6-3 200 Kentucky
Monk is a supreme athlete and is arguably one of the best scoring prospects in the draft. The Arkansas native averaged almost 20 points per game for Kentucky, shooting 40 percent from behind the arc. He can also attack the basket and his athleticism was on full display all year, with a vertical leap measuring 42 inches. Monk can play in the open court and in the half court with success, but the biggest question is his size. At just 6-3, Monk won’t have as much success against 2 guards at the next level and may be forced to play at the point. If so, Monk must improve his ball-handling if he wants to succeed in the pro game.
