Oregon Ducks QB and Heisman Trophy Finalist, Dillon Gabriel joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. He says he has plans to check out New York City before the Heisman ceremony on Saturday and he definitely has an outfit picked out for the big night. And while he understands they cannot control their path to the College Playoff Championship, he thinks there will be some adjustments to the system in the future. And he talks about his college journey which began before COVID and N.I.L.
Dan Patrick: “When you guys were watching the Selection Sunday Show and you saw kind of where you guys were going to be, I’m not sure you had the same reaction I had is, ‘Damn, they put some tough teams in front of you if you guys are going to win a national title.’ Felt like it was a little unfair, Dillon, how did you and your teammates feel?”
Dillon Gabriel: “Totally out of our control. I think, naturally, it being the first year, there’s definitely going to be some things they’ll have to work on.”
