The Chicago Bears are introducing their new head coach Ben Johnson today and Dan is surprised that Tom Brady and the Raiders didn’t land the highly touted coach. He assumes that was the original plan in Las Vegas and he considers how the Raiders will pivot now that Johnson has passed on their opportunity. Whether they have another plan or they are scrambling to figure things out, they still have a lot of work to do this offseason.
Dan Patrick: “Maybe (the Raiders) got a bigger picture here, maybe there’s somebody else that they’re waiting for, but it felt like they thought they were getting Ben Johnson, and Ben Johnson said no to Tom Brady.”
