Jalen Milroe Won’t Be an NFL Quarterback

Alabama Quarterback Jalen Milroe was once told by New England Patriots quarterbacks coach Bill O’Brien that he wasn’t NFL QB material, and Milroe has used that perceived slight as motivation in his career. But Doug is convinced, especially after yesterday’s loss to Michigan in the College Football Playoff Semifinal, that Bill O’Brien is correct. Milroe will probably get a job in the NFL, but it won’t be playing QB.

Doug Gottlieb: “(Jalen) Milroe said that Bill O’Brien told him he wasn’t a quarterback, and he used that kind of to fuel him(self). Did you watch the kid play last night? Milroe probably plays in the NFL; not as a quarterback.”
