Colin Cowherd Says the Cleveland Browns Are a Bad Team Ready to Implode

Cleveland Browns v New York Jets
Colin Cowherd: “We saw two bad football teams on Monday Night Football but only one had an excuse. The Jets were on their second and third quarterbacks, they didn’t have arguably their best defensive player CJ Mosley, their number one pick and three defensive starters were out, their tight end is still suspended after a DUI in the offseason… SEVEN STARTERS OUT, yet they won time of possession, had more yards rushing, had almost as many first downs and they were both equally inept on third down. This should have been the Patriots vs. the Dolphins. We know the Jets are bad, but the other one is a 24/7 hype machine known as the Cleveland Browns. Hey ESPN announcer, stop calling Baker Mayfield the next Brett Favre. Through two games he has two touchdowns, four interceptions, and a QB rating lower than Eli Manning who’s being replaced. They have the most penalties in the league and most penalty yards, and they’re next five opponents are all 2-0. Jarvis Landry has completely disappeared, Myles Garrett led the league in penalties last year, had four more last night, and David Njoku is concussed. This puppy is about to implode in the next month. Cleveland is directionless, undisciplined, appears to be poorly coached, and is a hot mess.” (Full Video at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Monday Night Football showcased two bad football teams at Metlife Stadium last night, but with only one of those teams having an actual excuse.

The Jets were without starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who will miss time with Mono, and backup quarterback Trevor Siemian suffered a graphic broken ankle during the second quarter, which left them with third string no-namer Luke Falk.

Despite Cleveland beating the Jets 23-3, Colin thinks the Browns are all hype, and believes the team is about to plummet in the next five weeks as they will face a challenging next month against the Rams, Ravens, 49ers, Seahawks, and Patriots; all 2-0 teams.

Check out the rant below as Colin details to all the Browns fan boys that they’re beloved Browns are a bad team ready to implode.
