Jason Smith: Buffalo Will Make the Super Bowl If They Do This One Thing

Jason and Mike react to what was potentially the game of the year in the NFL as the Buffalo Bills took down the Kansas City Chiefs 30-21 on Sunday. After watching Josh Allen tear the vaunted Chiefs defenses apart with both his arm and legs, Jason came away with one overarching thought: if the Bills were to lean more into Allen's rushing ability, there wouldn't be anybody who could stop them on offense.

Jason Smith: "I watch Josh Allen lead drives, and there are times where I think this is the best quarterback I've ever seen. He is absolutely unstoppable. When he throws the ball, when he keeps it, he's going to get chunk yardage on every play... There's just something different about his game when they dial up designed runs for him, and when that's a big part of the game plan. I know you want to keep your quarterback healthy -- you don't want him to hit 31 or 32 [years old] and suddenly he's done like Cam Newton, but you've also got to take advantage of the talent that you have in your quarterback to win games... If the Bills call more designed rushes for him, that will open up the playbook, open up the running game, open up the passing game, and there's no way they don't make the Super Bowl... If they give him 12 or 14 carries a week, I can't see anybody stopping the Bills. It's a skill set that nobody else in the NFL can do and have that kind of effect on the game."
