Report: Clippers Could Look to Trade Paul George to the Brooklyn Nets

Jason McIntyre: “At the exit interviews, and this is just what I’ve heard, Paul George did not get rave reviews from his teammates. My source would not be shocked if Paul George was shipped out of town, and the potential landing spot is the Brooklyn Nets where he would then team with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. In exchange the Clippers would get something along the lines of Caris Levert, Spencer Dinwiddie, and some sort of second round Draft pick to balance out the rest of the deal. I’m sure the Clippers would love to get Jarrett Allen who had to take a backseat to DeAndre Jordan because DeAndre is friends with Kyrie and Kevin Durant.” (Segment Above)

Listen to Jason McIntyre explain why he thinks a blockbuster trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets could be on the table this offseason, as McIntyre says his ‘source’ within the league reported that PG-13 ‘did not get rave reviews from his teammates’ at the team’s exit interviews, and added that his source ‘wouldn’t be shocked if Paul George was shipped to Brooklyn.’

Clippers players were reportedly frustrated at some of George’s postgame comments moments after their shocking playoff exit to the Denver Nuggets, with some players even reportedly rolling their eyes with George’s ingenuous attempt to act as a leader during a locker room speech.

Check out the audio above as McIntyre said the trade would center around the Nets strong supporting cast the likes of Caris Levert, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Jarrett Allen.
