Recent reports say that Sam Darnold is "unlikely" to leave USC at the end of the season to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. Ben Maller thinks that this would be an unwise decision by Darnold.
With Darnold's stock dropping a bit, it's more likely that he could be drafted by a team that isn't completely awful and therefore would have a better chance of success at the next level.
