It appears as if the New York Jets are heading in the direction of naming Rookie QB Sam Darnold as their starter for Week 1. This is not shocking as Darnold has shown a grasp of the offense fairly quickly and has performed very well in his first two preseason games. But is it too soon to turn to the former USC star?
Doug Gottlieb thinks that the Jets are rushing into this and it could end badly because their offensive line play is not good & they could be risking injury to Darnold.
