Doug Gottlieb: The Patriots Are Still the Team to Beat in the AFC

Doug Gottlieb: “The Patriots are the team that EVERYBODY should fear the most. Not because of their talent, but just because they always find a way.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Doug Gottlieb explain why he thinks every team in the AFC should be wary of where the New England Patriots are located in the AFC playoff bracket, with teams still jockeying for position in a conference that the Baltimore Ravens seemingly have a stranglehold on.

If the current seeding stayed pat, the Ravens would be the number 1 seed in the AFC, with New England as the 2, Kansas City at the 3, Houston as the 4, Buffalo as the 5, and Tennessee as the 6.

The Chiefs obviously appear like the no. 1 contender to the Ravens, not only because they beat the Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 3, but because Kansas City has been one of the league’s hottest teams since quarterback Patrick Mahomes returned from his dislocated kneecap, winning five straight games and beginning to show signs of a defense capable of shutting teams down.

However, Gottlieb believes it’s not the Chiefs who are the ones the Ravens are concerned about, it’s the team who has won 4 of the last 5 conference championships.

Check out the video above as Gottlieb details why he’s not ready to bail on the Pats just quite yet.
