Miami Dolphins are Reportedly Looking to Trade Up to Draft Joe Burrow

Colin Cowherd: “Here is the story from the Miami Herald. The Dolphins with 13 picks are ready to put a bunch of them together and offer them to Cincinnati to get Joe Burrow. If I were Cincinnati and can get 6 picks, drop down a few slots and STILL get a quarterback, I'd do it in 2 seconds.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd discuss a recent report in the Miami Herald that said the Dolphins are looking to trade up to number one to draft LSU quarterback Joe Burrow in next month’s 2020 NFL Draft.

The Cincinnati Bengals currently hold the number one overall pick, but haven’t really made any sort of inclination towards their plan on Draft day. Burrow is the nearly unanimous top prospect in the Draft, but Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa is being celebrated as a future star with a higher ceiling than Burrow who is not going first overall simply because of the health risks attached to his time at Alabama.

With the Dolphins owning 13 picks in the draft, including the number five pick, the possibility of a blockbuster trade is very realistic.

The Dolphins have severely struggled acquiring a competent quarterback since Dan Marino’s retirement in 1999, trotting out washed up or low-level talents the likes of Jay Fiedler, A.J. Feely, Gus Frerotte, Sage Rosenfels, Daunte Culpepper, Joey Harrington, Cleo Lemon, Trent Green, Chad Pennington, Chad Henne, Tyler Thigpen, Matt Moore, Ryan Tannehill, Jay Cutler, and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Check out the video above as Colin details why the Bengals should make this trade in a heartbeat.
