Rich Eisen: “What would you tell a team who maybe knocks on the door to you about Jameis if they’re interesting in his services?”
Bruce Arians: “I’ve called a couple teams. You’re going to get one of the hardest workers you’ve ever had and a great young man. It didn’t work out for us only became Tom Brady was available, and we had Teddy Bridgewater if that hadn’t of worked out. If not, we were going full steam ahead back with Jameis. He’s a great young man and no one is going to outwork him.” (Full Interview Above)
Listen to Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians explain to Rich Eisen why free agent former Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston was the third option for Tampa Bay this offseason, as Arians told Eisen that Tampa was only going to bring back Winston for his sixth season on the Bucs if both Tom Brady and Teddy Bridgewater had signed elsewhere.
Winston is coming off a season in which he led the NFL in passing yards and was second in touchdown passes, but also threw 30 interceptions and his seven pick-sixes were the most in NFL history.
Check out the interview above as Arians tells Rich that he's talked on the phone to two teams who were inquiring about Jameis.
