Michael Jordan Would Be James Harden in Modern NBA
Jason Smith: “The comparison with who Michael Jordan would be if he played today is being made with the wrong person. If Michael Jordan played today, offensively he would be James Harden…Jordan couldn’t back defenders down like he used to because help defense is different now and it would be a little bit tougher. His shooting percentage would go down but he would hit more threes. He would average around 30-35 points and they would accomplish the same thing… You say ‘Well, Jordan was able to win more.’ Scottie Pippen is one of the top 50 players to ever play in the NBA all-time. Give James Harden one of the top 50 players in the NBA all-time to play alongside for the bulk of his career and tell me what kind of championships James Harden would win. The comparison is pretty easy to make in what they would accomplish and what they would do.” (Full Audio Above)

Listen to Jason Smith explain why he thinks Michael Jordan would be the equivalent of James Harden if Jordan were playing in today’s modern NBA.

Check out the audio above as Smith details why he believes Harden could have won championships if he had played with a player of Scottie Pippen’s caliber for the bulk of his career.
