Listen to NFL Vegas sharps RJ Bell and Steve Fezzik join Jonas Knox on ‘Straight Out of Vegas’ to preview the 30th ranked team on their 2020 win/total predictions, the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals turn the page on a surprisingly successful Andy Dalton era, as the team made the playoffs five consecutive seasons from 2011 to 2015. However, from 2016 to 2019, the Bengals went 21-42, including tying a franchise low in wins last season with just two.
Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow strolls into town coming off the greatest statistical season in the history of college football, and will likely be the starter day one for a Cincy team who was 30th in points scored last season, 30th in touchdown passes, and 30th in quarterback rating.
The Bengals over/under for the season is 5.5 wins, 150-1 to win the Super Bowl, 26-1 to win the AFC North, and 7-1 to make the postseason.
Burrow will be fortified by a talented Bengals offense that didn’t have AJ Green for all 16 games. Running back Joe Mixon is arguably a top 10 running back, and Tyler Boyd makes the duo with Green one of the AFC’s best.
The guys like the OVER for Burrow throwing over 3,700 yards.
