Jason Whitlock: LeBron Incites Violence With His 'Bogus Narratives' on Race
Jason Whitlock: “There are so many false narratives that have been promoted in the last 7-10 years via social media, and this Jacob Blake incident is a shining example. LeBron said Black people are ‘terrified’ and Black people are ‘scared’, and all this is an insinuation that Black people live in fear of the police… Let’s examine the Jacob Blake situation. A Black woman called the police. You don’t call people you’re terrified of… If you look at the behavior of Jacob Blake he’s not scared, and he’s not acting like he’s ‘terrified’ of the police. He’s willing to fight them, they have gun drawn on him, he’s willing to walk away, he’s going to his car reaching for a knife, allegedly – he doesn’t seem to be expressing any fear. There is a bogus narrative that is being driven by athletes and this elite culture, and it’s irresponsible, it’s a lie, it’s dangerous, and I don’t get why they’re allowed to get away with it. Nobody questions LeBron James in any type of legitimate fashion. People are just saying dumb things to promote fear and to promote the defunding of police, and demonization of police. All it’s leading to is more and more anarchy and more and more death.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Jason Whitlock join Outkick the Coverage to discuss LeBron James’ adverse role in tilting public perception on contemporary events, as LeBron has been at the forefront of viral reactions when commenting on incidents involving the likes of Aumaud Aubrey, George, Floyd, and Jacob Blake.

LeBron notably tweeted March 6th, 2020 ‘We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step outside the comfort of our homes!’ when referring to the Ahmaud Arbery killing.

When reacting to the George Floyd death while in police custody, LeBron tweeted on May 30th, 2020 ‘Why doesn’t America love US!!!!???’

When discussing the shooting of Jacob Blake on August 25th, 2020, LeBron said during a press-conference ‘We are scared as Black people in America. Black men, Black women, Black kids, we are terrified.'

Check out the segment above as Whitlock details why LeBron’s comments are ‘lies’ and a ‘pushing a bogus narrative’ that is doing nothing but inciting more violence around the country between the races, and with police.
