Clay Travis Calls Colin Kaepernick's High Madden Rating 'Woke Propaganda'
Clay Travis: “Sports are losing their mind over what a tiny segment of their population wants on social media, and in particular this Madden decision goes right to the essence of this. Bowing to the WOKE community, Madden has decided to put Colin Kaepernick into the video game, and despite the fact that he hasn’t played in four years, they made him an '81' overall rating on their game. Four years ago when he was in the NFL, he had a rating of 76… In one of the most ridiculous and absurd decisions in the history of video games, Colin Kaepernick has a higher rating than 16 starting quarterbacks in the NFL right now. He hasn’t played in four years and Kaepernick is higher rated than Tyrod Taylor, Dwayne Haskins, Gardner Minshew, Drew Lock, Mitch Trubisky, Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Teddy Bridgewater, Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, Kyler Murray, Josh Allen, Cam Newton, Derek Carr, and Ryan Tannehill, and is the exact rating as Ben Roethlisberger. This is a perfect example of the WOKE virus spreading across sports, and totally kneeling in the direction of losers on social media who are obsessed with a guy who isn’t good enough to be a starter in the NFL. This is just blatant dishonesty and utterly ridiculous. It’s one thing to put him in the game, whatever, but to rate him higher than half of the NFL starters is blatant dishonest propaganda… This isn’t an accurate representation of real life in any way and it’s blatant propaganda. It’s fundamentally dishonest on every level that you could possibly imagine… I usually buy the Madden video game for my kids, the update, but I don’t want to do it this year. It’s literally something that would lead to me not spending my money.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Clay Travis explain why he thinks Madden 2021’s decision to include Colin Kaepernick in their game for the first since 2017 as an 81-rated free agent was ‘blatant propaganda’, as a player who hasn’t played in four seasons was rated above active Pro Bowl-caliber quarterbacks the likes of Cam Newton, Jared Goff, Kyler Murray, Josh Allen, and Derek Carr, and was the same rating as future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger.

Check out the audio above as Clay details why this is simply Madden bowing to the ‘woke’ community, and resorting to ‘ridiculous dishonesty’ just to make his fanboys on social media happy. Clay says he will not be buying this year’s version for his young kids anymore.
