NBA All-Star Involved in Disturbing Accusations With Woman

Four-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA Champion Rajon Rondo was involved in unsettling recent accusations by a woman who alleged that Rondo and his girlfriend cursed her out, and roughed her up in a parking lot because the woman’s parked car was blocking Rondo’s driver side door from opening.

TMZ first broke the story of the woman who lives in the same apartment complex as Rondo’s girlfriend, recounting a July 28th, 2020 incident where she alleges that Rondo violently shoved her against her own car, and added that his shove included such force that one of her sandals flew off her foot.

The woman alleges that Rondo then gave his girlfriend the ‘green light’ to continue attacking the woman while she laid on the ground, saying that Rondo’s girlfriend began repeatedly striking her in the head area and around her upper body.

Rondo allegedly shouted ‘B*TCH, WHY DO YOU THINK YOU CAN PARK HERE?’, and the woman says his COVID-19 mask proceeded to slip below his nose as well, adding to her fear.

TMZ says the woman is suing Rondo for damages of over $1 million, as she’s alleging that some of her injuries have resulted in ‘permanent disabilities.’

Rondo’s attorney called the case ‘meritless’, and says parking lot surveillance footage will show that Rondo was ‘polite throughout the encounter.’

Rondo signed a two-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks on November 23rd, 2020. He was a member of the Lakers’ 2020 NBA Championship team and averaged 8.9 points, 6.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 24.7 minutes of action.
