These 3 NBA Trades Would Make the Most Sense for Damian Lillard and Blazers

Listen to Colin Cowherd discuss Friday’s news regarding Damian Lillard’s availability, as one of the game’s best players has reportedly requested a trade from the Portland Trailblazers.

Lillard turned 31 on Thursday, and next season will be beginning year one of his four-year supermax contract that will pay him $176 million over the next four years ($44M per year).

At this point, the four teams that Lillard is reportedly interested in are the Knicks, Lakers, Heat, and Warriors in no certain order.

Lillard’s Blazers have finished with a winning record in seven of the last eight seasons, with four of those years posting 49+ victories, and seven receiving postseason births.

During the 2018/2019 season, the Blazers made it all the way to the conference finals but were swept by the Warriors in four games.

Check out the video above as Colin details the three trades that he believes would make the most sense for not only Lillard but the Trailblazers as well, who Colin feels like could still contend in the West without Dame's services.
