Nurkic who has injury issues and Dame Lillard, who has played poorly this year and is banged up. The Blazers said they plan to rebuild around Damian Lillard. You think he wants to stay?? Be very careful blowing up your franchise and rebuilding, Orlando has been doing that for like ten years. It’s easier in the NFL, and it’s easier when you’re the Lakers and Yankees and you can buy players, but in the NBA, Portland is geographically isolated, not close to a championship team, a lot of players don’t want to go up to Portland in the winter, they’re not very good right now, and Damian Lillard looks around at Golden State, Phoenix, the Clippers, the Lakers, Denver, where’s Portland?? This could be ten years of irrelevance, you gotta be careful on this. I like Jalen Suggs, he was great at Gonzaga, but you watch him this year for Orlando? Yeah, me neither. This is a very difficult league to start over. What’s on the market that’s so attractive? Ben Simmons?? James Harden? PASS.
