Colin Cowherd: “Here’s how I would rank the NFC quarterbacks on highest ceiling; the best version of themselves. I think Matt Stafford is number one. I would have said Aaron Rodgers for years and years in the NFC. Protection, weapons, I’ve seen Stafford win a Super Bowl, I’ve seen him carry a team. You may push back on this, but I’ve seen Jared Goff with two coaches in the conference championship game and get to the Super Bowl. I would do Jared Goff second. I would do Jordan Love third. When I watched him go up against Dallas and absolutely outplay Dak -- and that was his first year starting, it wasn’t one of the better Packers o-line, and the receivers are all kids. I’d put Jordan Love third right above Kyler Murray at four, who I love. I think Love’s ceiling is through the roof. Jalen Hurt fives. I’ve seen him get to a Super Bowl and lead Mahomes in the fourth quarter. At his ceiling with Shane Steichen he was MVP of the league or close to it. Six and seven I have Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels. Are you telling me that Caleb Williams doesn’t have a higher ceiling?? Dak was a fourth-round pick and Caleb was number one. He’s thought of as the most transcendent quarterback since Andrew Luck. I think Jayden Daniels is going to POP. I think he’s going to be a baller. He was a much better college quarterback than Dak. I think we’re already seeing the best of Brock Purdy. Now eight I think we get into Dak Prescott territory.”
