Fitness influencer, boxer, and powerlifting world record holder Stefi Cohen is accused of hacking into her ex-boyfriend's laptop and posting nude photos of his new girlfriend.
Cohen, 32, whose full name is Stefanie Cohen Magarici, was charged with unauthorized access to a computer, a misdemeanor sexual cyberharassment, criminal mischief and resisting arrest without violence, NBC 6 Miami reports. The Miami influencer gained access to her ex-boyfriend's laptop after he left it behind in a house they previously shared in March 2022, according to an arrest report obtained by the news station.
Cohen correctly guessed her ex-boyfriend's Apple iCloud account password and found several naked photos of his new girlfriend before allegedly telling the woman that she would share them "with the purpose of exposing and humiliating her," the victim told police. The victim and Cohen's ex-boyfriend reported the incident to Miami detectives in November 2023 and the influencer was arrested at her Coconut Grove home on Tuesday (May 28).
Cohen reportedly “did not comply and began to walk at fast pace back to her residence" while resisting arrest before two officers were able to get her into handcuffs, at which point she placed a "right leg hook" on one of the officers and took him off his feet. The influencer was eventually placed in the back of a police vehicle where she "placed her right leg on the latch to unlock the door and grabbed it with her toes” before pulling "the latch with her toes and intentionally broke the locking system, causing the door not to lock at all.”
Cohen was eventually booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and granted a $3,300 bond during a hearing on Wednesday (May 29), at which point she was ordered to stay away from her ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend. The Venezuelan native is scheduled for another court appearance on June 27.
Cohen is a 25-time world record-breaking powerlifter, which includes the all-time world records for squat, total, and deadlift for the 123-pound weight class, according to Men’s Health. The 32-year-old also has a 4-1-1 professional boxing record, which includes a win in a unanimous decision against Elsi Cervantes in her last match in June 2023.
