Nick Wright: “I don’t think this contract is going to age well. Everyone’s like ‘you HAVE to do it!’… no, you don’t, you don’t have to do it. The idea that ‘WELL, YOU CAN’T HAVE KYLER BE UNHAPPY!’… sure you can. In this instance, you can. The NFL is not the NBA, and quarterbacks after three years are not guys who are about to hit free agency. It’s just different metrics. Here is the issue with Kyler’s contract… Does anybody think Kyler is a top 7 guy? No…? Does anybody think he’s a top 8 guy? No…? Top 10? Maybe, and you’d rather have him more like Dak Prescott or Deshaun Watson, so what is he – the 9th, 10th, or 11th best quarterback in football? We’ve seen him in one playoff game and he was HORRIFIC in that playoff game, he had 140 yards and a 40 passer rating. Every single year come December he’s BAD, I think it’s because he gets banged up. Kyler and Kingsbury are both locked up through like 2027. One certain one of them is not making it to the end of the deal, and I’m not that confident that either one is going to make it to the end of the deal.” (Full Segment Above)
