Rams at Cowboys (SPREAD: DAL -6.5)

"Take Dallas -6.5. They have won 10 consecutive home games. Dak is a great HOME favorite. I don't love them on the road or playing from behind, but the Cowboys' last 10 home games they averaged 33 points a game, and +16 on the turnover-differential. Dak has won eight consecutive home games, I don't think he's going to trail. He's got the better roster, better defense, top 5 in both scoring and total defense. The Rams: the gig is up. They've lost 5 of 6, they're banged up physically, Matt Stafford the last three games is completing 55% of his throws, they don't have their number one running back, and the offensive line is Scotch tape. It's separation weekend, Dallas as a home favorite, good spot for Dak, they win and cover 28-20."

Colin's prediction: Cowboys 28, Rams 20.

Colin's pick: Dallas -6.5

Jets at Giants (SPREAD: NYJ -3)

“Dumpster diving, I'll take the Giants +3, here's why... You think I'm going to swallow three with Zach Wilson?? Do you know with Tyrod Taylor they had 11 plays of 20+ yards over the last two games? They've got an offense, they're getting Darren Waller the ball. Tyrod Taylor had two TDs, zero picks last week. Daniel Jones had two TD passes all season. I told you, I like the Tyrod Taylor Giants more than the Daniel Jones Giants. Zach Wilson in this offense is anemic, they've been held to 20 or fewer in four of five games, and they're last in virtually everything. He's completing 60% of his throws on the year. I like Saleh, I like the defense, but getting three points? I'm taking it. Last week I called some upsets and we hit on them -- I'm calling the Giants over the Jets, 24-23."

Colin's prediction: Giants 24, Jets 23.

Colin's pick: New York Giants +3

Eagles at Commanders (SPREAD: PHI -7)

"Okay, dumpster diving! I'm going to take the Commanders +7. It's a touchdown, I'm taking it. Division rivalry game, Sam Howell has got a nice arm, second in the league in fourth quarter passing yards. The defense has 3+ sacks in four straight games. Jalen Hurts, who is not healthy, has more interceptions-- 8 this year, more than he did all of last year. Jalen is banged up, this team has lost the turnover battle in three straight games, they should win this game, they're better... But I just saw the Patriots beat the Bills in a division game, I'm taking the 7. Commanders cover, Eagles win 27-23."
Colin's prediction: Eagles 27, Commanders 23.

Colin's pick: Washington +7

Texans at Panthers (SPREAD: HOU -3.5)

“I really like the Texans -3.5. It's a good team. They blew out Pittsburgh, this is a good team. They blew out Jacksonville, the Texans are a good team, the Panthers are awful. Texans? Good team, they've won three of four. They've held opponents to 21 or fewer for the last month. Tank Dell returns, an explosive receiver. Do you know CJ Stroud leads the NFL in passer rating on third down? They are going to control time of possession and turn third downs into first downs. The Panthers have lost three of four by 10+ points, this is a bad team and everybody in the room knows it. They don't throw the ball down the field with Bryce Young. They have no explosiveness. They'll hang around, it's the kind of game that will look a little sloppy and ugly, but I get the better quarterback, I think I get the better roster-- I'm going to take the Texans to win 31-23."

Colin's prediction: Texans 31, Panthers 23.

Colin's pick: Houston -3.5

Raiders at Lions (SPREAD: DET -7) [Monday Night Football]

“Like it? I LOVE Detroit -7. I think they blow the Raiders out. First of all, any good team that gets humiliated bounces back. The first six weeks the Lions were outstanding and top five in all the offensive categories. Don't sell your stock because Lamar Jackson embarrassed them. Lamar Jackson is 16-1 against the NFC. They have the number two rush defense, forcing the Raiders to pass... Oh good, Jimmy Garoppolo has eight picks and seven touchdown passes this year! The Raiders have lost three straight road games by an average of 18 points. This is a Raiders team under Josh McDaniels that lost to Baker Mayfield two days after he got to the Rams, they lost to Jeff Saturday, and they lost to a division 2 quarterback [Tyson Bagent]. Detroit is pissed, they're better, they're at home, and they're going to roll them. Detroit 33, Raiders 23."

Colin's prediction: Lions 33, Raiders 23.

Colin's pick: Detroit -7
