Bucs Players and Coaches Reveal the Speech Tom Brady Gave Before Super Bowl

Ndamukong Suh: “He got me really hyped up before the game in his pregame speech to us. He doesn’t always speak, and I think he wanted to be reserved and choose the right time going into this game, and just said to the entire group ‘You win this game and for the rest of your life, you and your family is going to be honored for the rest of your life.’ Especially winning at home, this team deserves to be honored for the rest our lives, and continue to be very proud of what we were able to accomplish last night.”
Bruce Arians: “He gave a hell of speech [before the Super Bowl]. I gave a speech – and I don’t talk long pregame – and he started talking about being honored, and being remembered, and our guys came out of the locker room and they were ready to roll. I said something, Lavonte said something, then Tom said something and they came out with a look in their eye and I knew we were going to win... He talked about being remembered, ‘you win this game and you’ll be remembered for the rest of your life, and you’ll be honored for the rest of your life, and the honor that comes with winning the Super Bowl you guys have no clue. Play your best and win this thing because the rewards are unbelievable.’”
Leonard Fournette: “He gave us a speech before the game about honor. I ain’t going to go into details about it, but it was deep, you know? I’d never felt that deep — my feelings toward the word ‘honor’ until he put it in a sentence that made everybody open their eyes and realize that we were going to win this game.”

Listen to Bucs players and coached disclose what Super Bowl 55 MVP Tom Brady said to the Buccaneers moments before their 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs 11 days ago, as reports had surfaced that Brady not only sent the entire team a ‘we’ll win tomorrow’ text message, but he gave an ‘epic’ pregame speech to invigorate the entire locker room.

Check out some of the videos with head coach Bruce Arians, long-term defensive veteran Ndamukong Suh, and postseason hero ‘Playoff Lenny’ Leonard Fournette giving some insight into what Brady said to them.

Bucs All-Pro linebacker Devin White posted on Twitter that he hopes the team at some point releases the video of Brady’s speech.
