Why the Falcons Blew the Julio Jones Trade

Jonas Knox: “What happened to that first-round pick that we were told was on the table for Julio Jones??... I just wonder what Atlanta could have had if they had gotten this done before the draft… I just don’t get the feeling that the market was as robust as a lot of people were making it out to be… This feels like a new regime who butchered their first major trade."
Brady Quinn: “If Atlanta wanted to maximize their returns for Julio Jones, it should have happened before the draft. Once you draft someone’s replacement, that’s it, you lose all your leverage, and so Atlanta had to take the best of what they could get… It’s crazy when you think that New England traded for Muhammad Sanu for a second and a fifth one year apart from Julio Jones.” (Full Video Above)
