If Nebraska football called… You can afford to hire a guy with baggage, you can’t afford to keep losing in college football. Mississippi State hired Mike Leach, it’s working okay. Lots of guys get second chances. Iona hired Rick Pitino, guess what happened? They started winning. If I’m Nebraska, I’m like ‘do I want to go 3-8 or have a tough press conference?’”
Dan Patrick: “I had some correspondence with my college football source, we were talking about Urban Meyer – ‘could you see Urban Meyer going back into coaching?’ You know what my source said? Pauly is onto something with Nebraska. My source also said here’s another team to keep an eye out for… Arizona State.”
