Colin Cowherd Says Packers Are About to Become an 'Irrelevant' Franchise

Colin Cowherd: “I have never sold my stock on a football team in an OTA faster than I’m selling Green Bay’s now. I went and looked at the Packers schedule and I came up with six wins. I think we’re going into what the Packers were in the 80s, kind of irrelevant. They don’t have a great quarterback, it’s increasingly a quarterback league. This is not a time when if you, 10-15 years ago, had a great running back and great defense you could be a dominating team. Those days are over. I looked this morning [at their schedule], I’m moving to 6-11 for the Green Bay Packers.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd discuss the bitter reality for the Green Bay Packers this season in the wake of Aaron Rodgers’ exodus to New York, as Colin breaks down the Packers’ schedule week by week and predicts what their record will be with new starting quarterback Jordan Love.

Colin believes the Packers, one of the league’s most successful franchises the last two decade with first ballot Hall of Fame quarterbacks Rodgers and Brett Favre, are steering towards the 1980s again when Green Bay finished with more than eight wins just twice all decade with an anonymous group of players barely propping up a dormant franchise who won just one playoff game from 1967 to 1993.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why he believes the Packers will only muster 6 wins this season in a reloaded NFC North that could see the Bears challenge for a Wildcard spot and the Lions threaten the Vikings for the division crown.
