Colin Cowherd: “There remains a possibility that Jimmy Garoppolo never plays for the Raiders due to his foot injury. This could be the least controversial, most understood, and easiest tank in league history. I know Raiders fans, you think you can win the division— you CAN’T, zero chance, not happening. Even if you have a good year, would you rather go 10-7, just miss the playoffs, or make the playoffs and get roasted with no future quarterback? OR go 3-14 and get Caleb Williams at USC. In the better AFC, in maybe the best division in football, with a very weak defensive roster, and a superstar receiver that’s pretty unhappy, if Jimmy G can’t play, you are 3-14. Brian Hoyer has not started and won a game since 2016. Have the Raiders stumbled into quite possibly the greatest break in 25 years in Raiders history? If you go look at the Raiders’ schedule it is a litany of top quarterbacks, top coaches, and tough road games. Sometimes you stumble into greatness. The Philadelphia Eagles were ready to move on from Jalen Hurts for Russell Wilson and Russell Wilson turned them down. Then Jalen Hurts exploded. They stumbled into that. They stumbled into the Nick Foles championship.” (Full Segment Above)
