Colin Cowherd Describes Every NFL Week 17 Game in Just Three Words

Listen to Colin Cowherd summarize EVERY Week 17 NFL game in just three words as The Herd continues its weekly ‘3-Word Game’ every Monday.

The biggest storyline from Week 17 was definitely the San Francisco 49ers' thrilling victory over the Seattle Seahawks at the buzzer that saw the 49ers clinch home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs after denying the Seahawks the game-winning touchdown from the one inch line. Russell Wilson's fourth down completed pass to Jacob Hollister was stuffed by San Fran defender Dre Greenlaw right at the goal line during the game's final play in quite possibly the most dramatic play of the 2019 season. Replay review showed Hollister was sheer millimeters away from winning the Seahawks the NFC West division but never broke the plane of the end zone.

Other notable games were the Eagles clinching the NFC East, the Dolphins ruining New England's hope for a bye, the Cowboys playing one of their best games of the season at the complete wrong time, Jameis Winston becoming the first '30/30' player in league history, Andy Dalton killing of Freddie Kitchens in Cleveland, the Packers shocking the Lions in the dying seconds to clinch a bye, the Saints potential ending Will Grier's short NFL career, and the Ravens backups humiliating the harmless Steelers.
