Colin Cowherd Makes Argument For Justin Herbert Being Best QB in 2020 Draft

Arizona v Oregon
Colin Cowherd: “Sometimes you have a situation when there’s so much noise that we overlook something that is obvious. The Senior Bowl MVP was Justin Herbert. The Rose Bowl MVP is Justin Herbert. Folks, are we perhaps overlooking the best quarterback?? He’s bigger than all of them, 6’6”, and his arm is livelier than most or ALL of the prospects this year. With Oregon talent, not Alabama, LSU, Clemson, or Ohio State talent he had 61 touchdowns and 14 picks in the last two years. With OREGON tight ends, OREGON receivers, and OREGON backs. The Pac-12 has been in disarray the last 3 years and no one has paid attention to that little school 2,700 miles away from the SEC.” (Full Audio Below)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert might just be the best quarterback in the NFL 2020 Draft class that will be headlined by LSU’s Joe Burrow, and Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa.

Herbert has been a distant third on all draft boards behind National Champion winners Burrow and Tagovailoa, but Colin says it’s not really much of a surprise considering the SEC is practically a Godlike figure in college football, whereas players from the Pac-12 are stricken from the national spotlight.

Colin says Herbert reminds him a lot of Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, and says America is sleeping on a talent who has the best combination of size, speed, and arm talent in the Draft.

Check out the audio below as Colin details why he believes a team like the Chargers, Panthers, or Colts, all extremely desirable landing spots for a quarterback, will move up to draft Herbert, and perhaps be stumbling upon the crown jewel of the entire Draft.
