Colin Cowherd: Packers Should Trade Up to Draft Aaron Rodgers' Successor

Colin Cowherd: “Either Justin Herbert or Jordan Love is going to drop... Green Bay has a good enough roster to take a quarterback and have him sit." (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Green Bay Packers should move up in the 2020 NFL Draft and select Aaron Rodgers’ successor the same way teams have in the past like the New York Giants with Daniel Jones and Eli Manning, the Kansas City Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes and Alex Smith, and the Baltimore Ravens with Lamar Jackson and Joe Flacco.

Rodgers turned 36 in December, which isn’t as ancient as you would think with guys like Tom Brady and Drew Brees both playing solid football past the age of 40, but Colin doesn’t think the Rodgers has the drive that either of those players have to play for that long, and fully believes Rodgers will call it a career way before that.

Check out the video above as Colin details why the Packers should trade up to select Utah State quarterback Jordan Love, or Oregon QB Justin Herbert, who are two enigmas that have been trending upwards ever since LSU’s Joe Burrow and Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa were considered foregone conclusions to be selected one and two overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
