Colin Cowherd: "If you're Cincinnati and you trade Joe Burrow to Miami, you're almost guaranteed to be trading him to a better situation...It'd be a PR mess that Cincinnati wouldn't want to get into." (Full Video Above)
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Cincinnati Bengals would be much better off trading their number one overall pick to a team like the Miami Dolphins, who is reportedly looking to move up in the draft to acquire a quarterback in Joe Burrow who they have coveted for months now.
Even though Miami has the number five pick in the Draft, moving up four spots to number one would require a ton of trade capital to sell off, as Colin says the Bengals should take the Dolphins up on a package that would likely include multiple first round picks, and with a chance to still grab a quarterback like Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, or Jordan Love at number five.
Check out the video above as Colin details why the Bengals know they’re better off taking this route, but says the franchise is terrified of a PR firestorm from trading off an Ohio native, who will likely perform better in the short term than the quarterback the Bengals take considering Cincy has a much less talented roster in a much more stacked division.
