Murals in Los Angeles of the late Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna have remained unscathed during the George Floyd protests in Los Angeles, as much of the country continues demonstrations towards the killing of Floyd while in police custody.
A number of these protests have resulted in acts of violence from looters and vandals trying to turn peaceful protests into absolute mayhem, with many local businesses being broken into and robbed, and some outright burned to the ground. Many buildings in the Los Angeles area have been tagged with graffiti as well.
However, the touching murals of Bryant and Gianna, who were tragically killed in a helicopter crash on January 26th, 2020, have remained untouched throughout the week, with graffiti bandits leaving the massive wall paintings alone.
Nearly 1,200 people have been arrested in Los Angeles County as of Monday afternoon.
