Colin Cowherd: “So I’m watching Miami and Jacksonville last night, and I’m not really thinking about Miami and Jacksonville by the end of it. I’m thinking ‘Oh my God, New England is way better than I thought. I completely whiffed on New England’… Eight opt-outs, lost key free agents, Brady leaves… New England is WAY BETTER than I thought… Ryan Fitzpatrick against Buffalo and Jacksonville marched up and down the field. Against New England he could not move the chains. I watched that Miami-New England game and Miami couldn’t even compete, and it was over after the first quarter. They moved the ball up and down the field against Buffalo’s defense, and they dominated Jacksonville… Now the Patriots are a touchdown favorite against a Raiders team who just backhanded the Saints. I have apparently made an egregious mistake on the New England Patriots.” (Full Video Above)
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he’s officially admitting that he made an egregious mistake in predicting before the season that the Patriots would fall off a cliff in 2020, as Colin at one point was even forecasting that the team might try and be ‘competitively bad’ to better their chance at drafting an elite college quarterback the likes of Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields.
