Colin Cowherd: Cowboys Should Let Dak Prescott Go and Draft Justin Fields

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why the Dallas Cowboys should move on from Dak Prescott after five seasons, and look to draft Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields in the top 5 of next year’s 2021 NFL Draft.

Colin thinks that Dallas could legitimately be one of the two or three worst teams in the league at this very moment, and is not confident that the Cowboys would even finish better than the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have lost six straight games compared to only one victory.

The Cowboys currently sit at 2-6, but have lost three straight games in humiliating and blowout fashion. Colin thinks Fields, who has a 51/3 touchdown-to-interception ratio for his college career in 28 games, would be too elite for Jerry Jones and the freefalling Cowboys to pass on, saying the former no. 1 ranked high school prospect would be going number one in any Draft in recent memory if not for Trevor Lawrence.

Check out the video above as Colin details why he thinks it’s time for Jerry to make one last Super Bowl hurrah with this Buckeyes phenom.
