Colin Cowherd to Drew Lock: 'Win More Games, Then You Can Dance'

Colin Cowherd on 11/04/2020 “I’m not into Drew Lock. The ‘cool’ dancing – WIN MORE GAMES, CUB SCOUT! You’re in a franchise with John Elway! John Elway’s shadow is better than you. There’s only one quarterback in the NFL who tries to act cool and it works – Aaron Rodgers. And when you’re that gifted, I guess you get to be… I hate the dancing, he’s trying to be cool. I’m OUT on Drew Lock. Quarterback is not a ‘cool’ position. I want you to be ‘presidential’ or ‘quarterback-ian’, and I want you to be an adult.”

Colin on 11/06/2020: “I may dance on the show Monday… Drew Lock turned me off this week with all the dancing. So Drew Lock has a sense of humor apparently, and heard about that and responded… This is my promise to Drew Lock. You were great last week. Prove to me that it didn’t go to your head. I’m not even going to ask much. All I’m asking you this week is to beat crappy Atlanta… If you beat crappy Atlanta – and I’m not even asking you to beat the Titans, or Steelers, or win in Lambeau, or beat Russell Wilson, BEAT ATLANTA. I’ll make a bet. If you beat Atlanta, dancing is allowed for the rest of the season, no criticism. And I will dance a little bit on the show, Monday. But if you lose I’m coming after ya!”

Colin on 11/09/2020: “Dancin’ Drew Lock was terrible again yesterday. The last two games, 'Dancin’ Drew Lock’ in the first three quarters has a passer rating of 58. WIN MORE GAMES AND THEN YOU CAN DANCE. I said on Friday that I would dance today, but my guess was that ‘Mr. Cool’, ‘Mr. Dance’ and ‘Mr. Up and Down’ would deliver a DUD after being great in the fourth quarter last Sunday. This is my knock on the highly emotional quarterbacks, the silly guys, the cocky guys, and the fun guys -- they’re all over the map. I want neutral, that kind of guy gives me 7 out of 8 games the same performance.”

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he jumped off the Drew Lock bandwagon a few weeks ago, and why he thinks ‘Dancin’ Drew Lock’s’ demeanor is too easygoing, silly, and cocky to become a dependable franchise quarterback in the NFL.

Check out the video above as Colin once again goes after Lock for another terrible first half that the Broncos were not able to overcome.
