Not necessarily terrible, but average, didn't win a lot of awards, nobody talked about you or feared you... Then one week you finally write a really good column and you demand to be RESPECTED for that column... That’s the Miami Dolphins. Twenty-three years is the last time you won a playoff game. Twenty-three years of nothing remarkable. This past weekend you didn’t win a Pulitzer, i.e. a Super Bowl. You didn’t even win an award, i.e. a playoff game. You beat a Dallas team that is talented, but is strangely bad on the road. You’re ‘super high powered’ offense, which you’re so proud of, generated a single touchdown. If not for a bad exchange at the goal line, the Cowboys go up 13-3 and probably win the game. Miami is constantly seeking validation and ‘RESPECT!’... ‘GIVE US SOME CREDIT, COLIN!’ That’s Visa and MasterCard, it’s not my job to you give respect, it’s my job to be honest. You have a singular playoff win in 23 years. I do like your physicality. A lot of Miami teams are just flashy, but Bradley Chubb, Wilkins on the inside – you're physical, I like that with Vic Fangio. But you haven’t won a division since 2008, and that was because Tom Brady was hurt. You have played the easiest schedule in the league, you finally beat a team with a winning record at home, and you want everybody to do backflips.
