Colin Cowherd: “I don’t trust the Sixers. After Joel Embiid, who do I trust? Playoff James Harden surfaced again. Through two games: 32% shooting, 15 points per game, 4.5 turnovers, zero free throws. This is why I don’t trust him. Everyone always bangs on Paul George but if ‘Playoff Paul’ has a bad shooting night you get his defense, his rebounding, and his length. You don’t get the whistles in the playoffs so Harden is not as effective. Harden has always been a nightclub guy, a late-night guy, not as committed, and an in-and-out of shape guy…that’s fine but look at how fast he has eroded over the last four years. He’s fallen off a cliff. He’s aging really, really quickly. James Harden is now a glorified role player with a shoe deal and lots of fashion. That’s fine but if you think he’s going to be a number two in the playoffs it’s not happening. That’s just not what he is anymore. At this point, if you’re relying on Harden in the postseason— shame on you. He’s not a layered player. When Westbrook can’t shoot he can show layers and layers that he can offer the team when he’s not shooting well. Assists are nice but rebounding, defense, score the ball… I need points. Stars score points, you gotta make sure somebody besides Embiid can score points.” (Full Segment Above)
