Jason Whitlock Mocks 'Woke' Jim Harbaugh For NCAA Revenue Sharing Pleas

Jim Harbaugh: “I continue to advocate for that today, a system of revenue sharing with the student-athletes. I'm aware and understand when someone speaks out in defense of those without a voice, attempts are made to diminish the individual's character and credibility. As a former player and current coach mentoring many of these student athletes, what I wanted to do is be a voice for the student-athletes. I want them to be treated with the respect and the dignity that they deserve. What I don't understand is how the NCAA, television networks, conferences, universities, and coaches can continue to pull in millions, and in some cases billions of dollars in revenue off the efforts of college student-athletes across the country without providing enough opportunity to share in the ever-increasing revenues. When student-athletes call it a ‘game’, the corporate types call it a ‘business.’ When the student-athletes call it a ‘business’, the corporate types call it a ‘game’... Why wouldn't we let the student-athletes share in the success of their sport? We all should be about diversity, equity, and inclusion. I'm calling for a system that is fair, equitable, and benefits all involved. Don't exclude the student-athletes from the profits. In my opinion, you can't say you're about diversity, equity, and inclusion if you aren't willing to include the student-athletes in revenue sharing.”

Jason Whitlock: “Jim Harbaugh is on the recruiting trail. Everything that came out of his mouth just there is all about recruiting. These guys know that with ‘name, image, and likeness’ these guys are getting paid. Revenue-sharing? Give me a break. I think Jim Harbaugh is a good coach, he’s pro-life, but man, he does some woke stuff and this sounds WOKE to me... All these coaches, from Harbaugh, from Lane Kiffin, to Deion, everything that comes out of their mouth is basically a recruiting pitch, and it’s filled with hypocrisy. When your parents are saying ‘don’t smoke cigarettes’ with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth, it just doesn’t land the same. It’s all a recruiting pitch. He's so woke. That time he spent in San Francisco, he’s just so woke. Why not just shout out ‘BLACK LIVES MATTER!’. It’s hard for me, I’m telling you. I met Jim Harbaugh when we were both in college. Two of his best friends from high school, Jim Wacker, and I think Todd Clark, were teammates of mine at Ball State. Harbaugh would come down there and party at Ball Sate occasionally when he was the quarterback at Michigan. I’ve always liked Jim Harbaugh, he played quarterback for the Colts, my hometown team, but he’s insufferable now. The time he spent in San Francisco, his pandering with Colin Kaepernick and all of that, I’m not a Harbaugh fan.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Jason Whitlock of Fearless mock Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh for an impassioned press conference he made Monday while advocating for revenue-sharing between the NCAA and student-athletes, with Whitlock calling Harbaugh disingenuous and ‘insufferable’, and simply masking his only real desire of sucking up to potential football recruits.

Check out the segment above as Whitlock and co-host Steve Kim blast Harbaugh for conveniently going ‘woke' whenever it most suits his career.
