10. The Boones: Bob, Bret, and Aaron
“All three made an All-Star team. Bob was a great defensive catcher, and a 7-time Gold Glove winner for the Angels. Bret was a great fielder and a four-time Gold Glover, and Aaron, of course, hit the legendary walk-off in that Yankees vs. Red Sox game, and now manages the Yankees.”
9. The Fielders: Cecil and Prince
“They both finished with 319 career home runs. It’s the only father/son duo to hit 50 home runs in a season. Cecil was a three-time All-Star and Prince was a six-time All-Star.”
8. The Hills: Calvin and Grant
“It’s the only duo in the rankings that played different sports. Both went to academic institutions, Calvin went to Yale, and Grant went to Duke. Calvin was a 4-time Pro Bowler with the Cowboys and won a Super Bowl, and Grant was a 7-time All-Star and Hall of Famer.”
7. The Earnhardts: Dale Sr. and Dale Jr.
“His dad was rough and irascible, and Dale is the most likeable guy in the sport in my lifetime. Both have won the Daytona 500. Dale Sr., 'The Intimidator', won 76 races and 7 championships, and Dale Jr. won 26 races and is probably the most popular NASCAR driver of my life.”
