Dak Prescott is an 'Overrated Paper Tiger' Who Can Only Beat Bad Teams

Ben Maller: “The Cowboys are not handcuffed long term to a suspect player like Dak Prescott. It’s similar to what we talk about with politics with a public and private dichotomy here. Publicly Jerry Jones and the Dallas brass have to use platitudes, code language, and speak in glittering generalities when talking about Dak Prescott. They don’t wanna step on Dak Prescott’s delicate little toes. Privately, it’s very wise of the Cowboys to hold off pulling up the Brinks truck and just emptying out all the gold coins and the cartoon sized checks. Dak Prescott is the living embodiment of a ‘Paper Tiger.’ He’s, say it with me, OVER-RATED! OVER-RATED! Overrated doesn’t mean terrible, it just means not as good as many people think he is. There are a lot of media sycophants who LOVE them some Dak Prescott. He did put up numbers last season, but when you dig a little deeper, you say ‘wait a minute, he put numbers up against bad teams.' He has always been inept against the top dogs of the NFL.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Ben Maller explain why he thinks the Dallas Cowboys have been so reluctant to give into Dak Prescott’s steep and optimistic contract demands, as Maller detects what is slowly becoming the bitter truth: They don’t think he’s that good.

Check out the video above as Maller details why Prescott is an overrated ‘Paper Tiger’ who simply pads his statistics against the bad teams, and then predictably becomes a letdown in big games when Dallas is on the brink of taking the next step as a contender.
