Incompetent Bengals Organization Could Ruin Joe Burrow's Career

Colin Cowherd: “It is not a coincidence that the Browns, the Lions, and the Bengals have been a train wreck for 20 years. Not great owners, owners that won’t pay for elite front offices, and they don’t have elite front offices so they can’t find elite head coaches. The best people in the NFL want to work with the best people. No really high-end football coach is going to take the Bengals job. Why would you? They don’t pay, and they wouldn’t pay for a top GM. You’re not getting a Sean McVay, you get a Zac Taylor… If Urban Meyer is on the market, you’re telling me Detroit or Cincinnati are going to get the first call? I worry about Joe Burrow because Cincinnati has no history of supporting a great young quarterback. Prove it to me. Carson Palmer was the last great one that you had and he wanted out. There’s just four or five teams in the NFL that you get a ‘B-‘ coach, a ‘C+’ GM, and the best scouts in the league don’t wanna work for you. Whoever your owner is will dictate everything… I’m worried about Bengals nonsense. If I’m Joe Burrow, I would have pushed back. Eli Manning pushed back, Elway pushed back, and they were both rewarded.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he’s ‘worried’ that Joe Burrow’s career may never blossom in the NFL because of a historically incompetent Cincinnati Bengals franchise that has arguably been the worst organization of the last three decades, not only in the NFL, but in all of North American sports.

Check out the video above as Colin details why Burrow should have never agreed to sign with the Bengals, as Burrow will miss the rest of the 2020 season with a torn ACL.
