Jay Williams: “I think Kyrie, KD, and James Harden might be the best trio assembled in the history of the league."
Listen to Chris Broussard discuss ESPN NBA analyst Jay Williams’ recent take that proclaimed the new Brooklyn Nets trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden may potentially be the greatest trio in NBA history.
The Nets pulled off one of the biggest blockbuster trades in NBA history, and acquired the three-time reigning scoring champion and former MVP, to join Durant’s two NBA Finals MVPs, and Kyrie's six All-Star Game appearances, and defacto Finals MVP in 2016 when his Game 7 three-pointer in the dying seconds knocked out the Golden State Warriors.
Broussard thinks there are four trios in NBA history that are more ‘TALENTED’ individually than Durant/Harden/Kyrie, as Chris is removing cumulative ‘success' from the discussion, and not making his rankings of simply trios who accomplished the most together.
Check out the audio above to find out which four trios Chris picked.
