Colin Cowherd plays the ‘3-Word Game’ to describe every AFC team’s offseason thus far.
Bills – ‘RUN IN BACK’
“They have not made any free agent acquisitions yet. Josh Allen led them to their first AFC Championship in 27 years. They only have a little cap money anyway with about six million bucks, and no reason for big moves.”
Dolphins – ‘TUA BE DETERMINED’
“Tua had the second-fewest passing yards among all qualified quarterbacks and he got benched twice in the fourth quarter. Ryan Fitzpatrick is gone, so it is a ‘wait’, hope he improves, and get him another receiver in the Draft.”
Patriots – ‘BILL’S SHOPPING SPREE’
“Patriots’ tight ends had the fewest catches and touchdowns in the NFL last year so they went and bought Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith. In 24 hours they spent $273 million.”
Jets – ‘GET SAM OUT’
“Jets haven’t had a 4,000-yard passer since Joe Namath in the late 60’s. There’s a reason: they hire bad coaches, they spend bad money on free agents, and they always seem to have one legitimate offensive lineman and that’s it – GET SAM OUT.”
