Colin Cowherd: Why the Buffalo Bills Are Getting to the Super Bowl

Colin Cowherd: “I have a feeling that Buffalo is going to end up in the Super Bowl. You know how after a team gets to the Super Bowl, you’ll look back and say to yourself ‘OH, GOD, I SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT COMING! HOW DID I NOT SEE THAT?!’... If they get to the Super Bowl you’ll look back and go ‘Mahomes had his worst year because he was breaking in new receivers, Burrow got hurt, Baltimore fell apart physically, and Jacksonville disappointed' and you’ll go ‘OH, WHY DIDN’T I SEE IT?!’... I think Buffalo is getting to the Super Bowl. You’re going to look back and you’re going to go ‘HOW??’, and you’re going to go ‘Sean Payton/Russell Wilson caught fire too late, Chargers and Jacksonville disappointed, Burrow hurt, Mahomes and Andy were good but they’re not as good on the o-line and their receivers, and Baltimore – we like them but they just lost another piece [Keaton Mitchell].' There one more injury away from it being a problem area. I think they’re going to be in the Super Bowl, I had a premonition. It’s THE year for them. Mahomes down, Burrow hurt, Baltimore is good but they’re falling apart, Trevor Lawrence stepped back, Herbert didn’t have the right coach, CJ Stroud wasn’t ready, Titans were a mess... All the barriers have fallen for Buffalo, and FINALLY, in the last month they have developed a run-game. Josh Allen has dominated no one like Miami. They cannot stop him in the red zone, they don't have the personnel. Don’t trust the speed boat, the tanning salon of the NFL [Miami]. Only two teams in the league have gone up against Dallas and humiliated them physically – San Francisco and Buffalo, my NEW Super Bowl. Is this taped? BUFFALO, SAN FRANCISCO, I’M IN!” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd explain why he’s picking the Buffalo Bills to make it all the way to the Super Bowl despite the Bills still on the outside looking in when it comes to the AFC playoff standings.

The 8-6 Bills are in a four-way tie with the Bengals, Texans, and Colts for the final two Wild Card spots in the AFC with the lowly Chargers and Patriots on the schedule next for Buffalo, but a Week 18 trip to Miami will be challenging, and the Bills would lose potential tiebreakers to the Wild Card-contending Bengals, Jaguars, and Broncos because of head-to-head losses.

Check out the segment above as Colin details his ‘premonition’ on why he’s now penciling in the Bills and San Francisco 49ers for his Super Bowl matchup.
