Watch Jason Whitlock of Blaze TV’s Fearless compare the one-sided rivalry between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark to the popular HBO series ‘House of Dragon’, as Whitlock chronicles the unbridled ‘hatred’ that Reese has for Clark.
Check out the segment below as Whitlock expounds on the Team Green vs. Team Black ‘House of Dragon’ analogy, and why Reese’s clan is going for blood on Clark’s kingdom.
Jason Whitlock: “Team Black vs. Team Green [House of Dragon], what could be a better analogy for the WNBA? Team Black is Angel Reese and all the racial idolatry that backs Angel Reese and her claim to the throne. ‘ANGEL REESE IS 50% OF THE REASON THE WNBA IS HAVING ALL OF THIS SUCCESS!’... Caitlin Clark on the other hand is the reason they’re having all the success. She’s Team Green, it’s about money with her. It’s not about worshiping Black women, it’s not about Black idolatry, Team Green is about the Bemjamins. It’s about ‘LOOK AT THE EYEBALLS, LOOK AT ALL THE TRACTION, LOOK AT THE MONEY, AND LOOK AT ALL THE RELEVANCY THAT’S SHE’S BRINGING TO THE WNBA!’... A league that has never turned a profit in 27 years of existence. Now they’re actually drawing large crowds and actually have a pathway toward success, and there are a group of people that are on Team Green in support of Caitlin Clark. Then there’s the other group, Team Black, that’s in support of racial idolatry.
[HOUSE OF DRAGON SPOILER COMING] Last night on House on Dragons, there was a climactic scene at the end of episode one of season two... Team Black, Rhaenys, Angel Reese – her team sent two assassins to kill the son of Alicent. They ended up killing her grandson, a baby. Murdered and beheaded in his crib. That’s what Team Black did chasing power. Compare that to Alicent, who in previous scenes before her grandson was beheaded was talking about ‘hey, we’re gonna fight this out, but we don’t want this to turn into wanton violence.’ She’s trying to take the high road – same as Caitlin Clark.
What happened yesterday [Sunday] during the WNBA game between the Fever and Chicago Sky... Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese, and it was marked by Angel Reese with a hard foul on Caitlin Clark. [HOUSE OF DRAGON SPOILER COMING] It was two assassins trying to behead Caitlin Clark just like House of Dragon. It’s amazing how they parallel each other. Team Black on House of Dragon beheaded a baby boy in pursuit of power, Team Black and Angel Reese in the WNBA, tried to behead Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese on her hard foul on Caitlin Clark: ‘Going back and looking at the film, I’ve seen a lot of calls that weren’t made. I guess some people got a special whistle. Just being able to play hard as best as we can, I’m still proud of Kamilla [Cardoso] going on still getting a double-double. That’s something ya’ll not going to be able to stop, regardless of referees. Like, we’re here for awhile. We’re not going to be denied no matter what you guys can try to do.’
She starts saying ‘you guys’, and ‘we can’t be denied no matter what you guys try to do.’ It’s like, who is she talking to? The media? The media is virtually all Team Black. They’re all on-board with Angel Reese and whatever Angel Reese does. How does she turn this into some kind of victim story?
I don’t have a problem with the hard foul and I really don’t even think it was a dirty play. She was trying to make a play for the ball, but she didn’t care if she hit Caitlin Clark. My problem is with the lack of teammates coming to her defense and pushing up on Angel Reese and going ‘CUT THIS OUT’... Angel Reese doesn’t like Caitlin Clark. She’s made that crystal clear. She used to pretend in college like she liked Caitlin Clark, but she doesn’t. She’s jealous, she’s envious, she can’t stand her, and there’s a fight for power between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. Angel Reese is getting slaughtered in that fight, but she’s fighting dirty just like in House of Dragon, and is willing to behead whoever and whomever stands in her way of her push for power. But to sit there in this state of delusion and try to act like the entire media structure isn’t Team Black, isn’t Team Angel Reese, isn’t Team Black racial idolatry -- ‘EVERYBODY BEND THE KNEE!’, that’s a joke. Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark and racism has something to do with it, period, end of story. Let's call it what it is.
Caitlin Clark was once again trying to take the high road with Angel Reese, and it’s not the first time Caitlin Clark has tried to take the high road with Angel Reese. When Angel Reese taunted her two years ago when LSU won the championship and beat Caitlin Clark, something we’ve never seen before -- someone wins the National Championship and spends the first 10-12 seconds after winning the championship trying to taunt the opposing player. Not celebrating with her team but trying to taunt the opposing player. We have never seen that before. That’s how much Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark. Caitlin Clark took the high road two years ago and did it again. She was trying to de-escalate the situation. She doesn’t want smoke with Angel Reese and she doesn’t want smoke with Team Black because Team Black constantly plays the race card and Caitlin Clark knows she can’t win that battle. She doesn’t do a lot of thinking about the plight of Black lesbians. She doesn’t do a lot of thinking about the plight of George Floyd and whomever the Black lesbians have adopted in some kind of bogus scheme to attain power. She doesn’t want to engage in that fight so she keeps trying to deflect and take the high road.
Angel Reese has no interest in the high road and Team Black doesn’t care anything about truth, it doesn’t care anything about fair competition, it doesn’t care anything about smearing Caitlin Clark, it doesn’t care anything about sportsmanship or class. Angel Reese loves playing the victim, she never takes the high road. She can’t do that because she absolutely hates Caitlin Clark. Team Black hates Team Green. Team Black cares more about racial idolatry than they do about making money, it’s that simple.”
