I actually said the Westbrook move would not help them in the playoffs but I did think he would be productive in the regular season, and even that hasn’t worked out. I’ve been saying for six months that this is a dying brand. The Rams and Chargers are both loaded with young and dynamic stars. Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams to USC – this is a college football town too. The Dodgers are excellently run and all they do is win titles and get to the postseason. LeBron in his 19th year can’t carry this mess. Jeanie Buss has too many friends in the organization – calling Phil, Rambis, Rob Pelinka, Magic…STOP, get outside voices. They have not won a playoff series outside of a Bubble in a decade. In the last nine years they have had seven losing seasons. It is a dying brand. The Lakers are dying. They're the only team who truly benefitted from a pandemic where old guys got 4 months of in-season rest. If you look at the biggest brands in sports right now, everyone is either winning or is viable. The Lakers are the only dumpster fire. This is a dying brand and there is almost no way out. Weak front office, too many friends in the building, and even LeBron, who is always fair with the media, shut it down last night with the media, that’s how bad it is.” (Full Video Above)
